Good Pair of Tabriz Carpets

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very smart pair of Tabriz carpets which date from around 1920. The carpets have a stepped medallion in a soft blue, ivory and madder red set within a blue field with geometric motifs, all set within madder red borders. Quite unusual to find a pair, the carpets are in great condition with a low even pile and complete ends and selvedges.

They measure 220 cms by 126 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
