Fine Antique Feraghan Carpet Room Size

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautiful antique Ferghan carpet which dates from around 1920. The carpet is hand woven with the finest of lustrous wools and feels very soft to the touch. It has an indigo Herati field with allover design featuring a lighter blue and a pretty pink. The ivory borders have angular palmettes and also feature pink and a lovely pistachio shade. The carpet is in really excellent clean condition and is a good room size measuring 349 cms by 267 cms. This is a very pretty carpet which would add warmth and colour to a room.
