A good Antique Persian Qashqai rug of small size, with a classic Qashqai design.

Circa 1900.

The rug has excellent wool and superb colour. The design is one of the most traditional of all Qashqai designs, with a small medallion in the center. The border is a well drawn example of the pomegranate design. The field of the rug is full of tribal elements including flowers, shrubs, birds and animals.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
