Description

This is a beautiful hand woven Heriz carpet which dates from the early 20th century. This is a good quality example with some quite fine work to the intricate and colourful design. The carpet has a nice abrashed field and a very warm colour palette with a soft warm red being the ground colour. Heriz carpets are warm and soft woollen carpets which makes them a very practical and durable to live with. The carpet itself is in lovely clean order with a good deep pile and is in excellent order.
