Antique Jozan Carpet

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an antique Jozan carpet from West Persia dating from the early 20th Century. The carpet has an attractive warm colour palette with lots of coral, mid blue and a deep indigo central lozenge. The design is filled with stylised flowers and trailing vines.

This is in excellent order with complete ends and selvedges and an even pile throughout.

The carpet is a practical size measuring 145 cms by 207 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
