1900 - 1920
Description

This is an attractive Kashgai carpet from South West Perisa which dates from the early 20th Century. The carpet has a typical Kashgai design with a large indigo central lozenge within a rich madder field both filled with pretty stylised flowerheads and narrow triple borders. The carpet also features a golden yellow shade which really lifts it. This measures 135 cms by 118 cms and is in excellent order throughout.
