Size: 5ft 11in x 3ft 2in (181 x 96cm).

Antique Caucasian Shirvan rug with an open lattice design on a soft madder red ground.

Circa 1888.

The rug is well drawn with an impressive border, which is quite colourful and on an ivory ground. The rug is dated twice in the right hand border, 1306 which converts to 1888.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
