Beautiful French Mahogany & Gilt Ormolu Dressing Table

Description

This is a very pretty French dressing table of superb quality with attractive neat proportions. The table is constructed of solid mahogany and has extensive solid gilt bronze ormolu detailing throughout the piece. The adjustable mirror has a pretty bronze ribbon above and bronze beading around the bevelled glass. The uprights have solid bronze cappings and a most unusual geometric carved spiral design. The mirrored glass surface is a nice touch to this as it really lightens the piece. The drawers are all in excellent order and retain their original handles and are again detailed with beaded ormolu highlights like the oval mirror.

This has delightful neat proportions so would fit in any number of situations, measuring only 80 cms wide, by 48 cms deep. This is 132 cms high overall and 76 cms from floor to mirrored surface.
