Rare French Lift Mirror Top Dressing Table

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Tom Scott Antiques

Fantastic rare French rosewood and inlaid dressing table of exceptional quality, circa 1910.

A very elegant piece of furniture, designed to free stand as it is finished to the rear if it is to be seen on all sides. Lovely walnut veneered panels with banded inlays and additional brass mounts, standing on fine tapered legs on brass capped feet.

The centre panel of the top has a sliding hinge to reveal the dressing table mirror and storage area, the left and right side panels are also hinged to give further storage and fantastic sun burst veneer panels.

There is a single drawer to the left hand side, so you get varied storage spaces.

Certainly a useable size dressing table, but also a beautiful piece to use as a decorative side table elsewhere.

Has to be the finest quality of this style of dressing table I have handled.
