An early Kurdish fragmented runner, cut in places and probably missing borders. The design is one more often found on Konnegend rugs from the Caucasus mountains, but this is almost certainly North West Persian. Missing borders most likely to make a highly desirable size. Worn in places with some repairs, but solid and clean. I will supply a suitable underlay to make this a usable piece for the floor.
