Description

This is an antique Kirman carpet from South East Iran which dates from around 1920. The carpet is profusely decorated with a flowering branch design typical of Kirmans, it has great detail and is very pretty. This has a deep indigo field and very deep borders in shades of ivory, pink and blue.

The carpet has a little even wear and the borders are a little faded overall. It is otherwise in good condition with complete ends and selvedges and has a great antique look to it. The carpet is a very good room size measuring 410 cms by 266 cms.
