A fine Senneh kilim with soft colours and a traditional medallion design.
Circa 1900.
This is a good Senneh kilim with the overall design being the classic heratti design which is found in most Senneh kilims, the outer deign is on a dark indigo blue ground and the inner medallion design is on a ivory ground. The rug has soft pastel colours and an overall light palette. The use of yellow in the border is unusual.
Excellent condition with very slight even wear.
A fine kilim suitable for light domestic floor use.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
