Antique English Figural Vesta / Match Strike - Owl with Glass Eyes C.1890

Description

A really charming vesta case made from brass with nickel plating, I have left untouched with the natural antique patina, with brass peeping through to the front.

This lovely little Owl's head is lucky enough to retain his two glass eyes.

The lid is sprung and in good working order.

Late Victorian in era, dating to c.1890/1900. Excellent condition measuring 2 1/4" wide x 5/8" thick x 1 5/8" tall.
