Size: 6ft 2in x 2ft 11in (187 x 90cm).

Antique Caucasian Akstafa prayer rug of exceptional design.

2nd half 19th century.

A beautifully drawn prayer rug with superb colour. The rug is long and narrow with an ivory ground, the design is woven in pastel shades. The border is of classic Akstafa design. The rug is very fine with superb soft wool.

Superb condition with slight even wear and good pile

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
