A good North West Persian village rug from the Greater Hamadan Region with Paradise Garden design.

Circa 1920.

This is an interesting rug with a large tree in full blossom, the tree is filled with birds. The border has a well-drawn flowering shrub and bird design on a very attractive light indigo blue ground.

The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. A very attractive furnishing rug.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
