Size: 4ft 10in x 3ft 0in (147 x 92cm).

Antique Caucasian Seichur rug with floral lattice design.

Circa 1890.

This is a very sweet small rug from the area north of Kuba and south of Daghestan. The weave and colour palette is the same as found in rugs from the town of Seichur although the floral lattice design is more often found in rugs from Daghestan. The rug has excellent soft wool and a pleasing colour palette.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
