Mersham Manor Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
An excellent quality Edwardian four-poster bed, in the Georgian manner.
c1900.
This very elegant bed is constructed from mahogany, having turned and fluted bed posts. With inlaid decoration to the headboard and canopy.

Complete with hangings.
Pine slatted base.
The base measures 3ft 6" wide.
Very sturdy, solid and strong.
The bed frame is in excellent antique condition. General minor signs of age and use. A couple of small minor light scratches to the headboard. The curtains are slightly tired, and could benefit from a light clean.
There is also a very small tear to the pink canopy cover, very small and near the edge, so could easily be repaired and not visible. The curtains could of course be easily removed, and replaced with something of your own style and colour choice.

Completely dismantles to four sections-a headboard, the canopy lifts off leaving the two post end section, the middle section is one piece.
The dimensions are.
Height-222cm.
Width-107.5cm.
Length-207cm.
