Old Persian Hamadan Region Runner, Over 17 Feet Long, Mina Khani Design, Hard Wearing, Circa 1920

Description

Size: 17ft 7in x 3ft 7in (535 x 108cm).

Old Persian Hamadan region runner of good long size with traditional mina khani design.

Circa 1920.

The runner has excellent colour with a deep indigo blue field, the rich red ground border frames the runner well. The runner has an all over mina khani (many flowers) design.

The runner is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and almost full pile.

The runner has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The runner is suitable for heavy domestic floor use.
