Very good decorative French painted Louis xv style generous single bed, lovely carving and in good condition, circa 1900. The bed has been painted in an off white and lightly distressed. The bed is wider than the typical uk standard single bed, it will hold a mattress of 3’6” wide x 6’3” long, so it’s got a bit more room that the average single size bed. The frame is in great condition, original side rails as you can see and also, I have a slatted base for the bed too, so you will just need to place your mattress on the bed. You can use a standard single size mattress if you would rather, it will just be a bit narrow.
