French Kingwood and Marquetry Dressing Table

Very good quality and very decorative French kingwood and marquetry dressing table or writing table with brass galleries and ormolu mounts, finished with a lovely aged red leather with gilt tooling.

Beautifully made and very fine marquetry to the five drawer fronts, good storage with the four concave drawers and the large, full width drawer to the freize ( with working lock and key ), standing on four very elegant cabriole legs, all finished with further ormolu mounts.

Although the rear is not fully polished and as decorative as the front and sides, you could free stand this piece - let me know and I can polish it up further for you.

The aged red leather top is in good condition, as you can see, there are some marks and signs of age, but not torn.

Original bevelled mirror in very good condition too.
