Size: 6ft 5in x 4ft 7in (196 x 140cm).

Old Persian Qum rug with fine weave and superb soft colours on an ivory ground.

Circa 1920.

This is a very fine and well drawn rug, with the Zili-Zultan design. Vases of flowers with birds and ducks either side. All the dyes are natural and this rugs comes from the earliest weaving period of the town of Qum.

The rug is in outstanding condition with slight wear and good fine pile.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use and could also be used for display as a wall hanging.
