Description

Size: 6ft 3in x 4ft 4in (191 x 131cm).

Antique Khamseh tribal rug with the well known boteh design on an ivory ground.

Circa 1900.

The rug is covered with many small boteh and in between each one there is a small bird and flowers. The border design is of a classic Khamseh design.

The rug is in good condition with a even wear and medium pile. The rug retains the original short kilim at both ends.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
