Size: 6ft 0in x 3ft 10in (182 x 116cm).

Antique Caucasian 3 medallion Kazak rug with superb colour and great design.

Circa 1900.

The rug is of the classic three medallion design with a wide ivory border with the well known leaf and tuning fork design. The rug has an overall soft colour palate with the yellow in the upper and lower medallions being very pleasing. The field is an abrashed light indigo blue. The outer border is made up of colourful flower heads.

The rug is in fair condition with all over even wear and low pile. The ends have been re-woven and there are scattered old areas of re-piling and repairs. An attractive rug that is still suitable for floor use.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
