Old Afghan Baluch rug with a repeat hooked medallion design.

Circa 1920.

The design is in diagonal lines of different colour, not the small white flowers. The field is a dark indigo blue with some lighter bands. The border is of a classic Baluch design. This is a very well made rug with a firm handle that will stand up to heavy use.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
