Size: 11ft 10in x 8ft 8in (360 x 265cm).

Antique Afghan Ersari Turkmen carpet with traditional design, three rows of six large guls. This carpet has superb colour with a very good deep plum red and a very nice indigo blue green. The carpet retains the original flat woven kilim end finishes at both ends.

Circa 1900.

The carpet is in good condition with slight wear and good pile, the wool is really superb and very glossy. There are two areas of heavier wear that can be seen in the images, at the upper left hand side and the lower right hand side.

The carpet has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
