Description

Size: 4ft 6in x 2ft 10in (136 x 86cm).

Old Afghan village prayer rug with rams horn design to the Mihrab.

Circa 1920.

The rug has excellent colour and soft glossy wool, the ivory wool makes the rams horn mihrab stand out against the red ground.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile. The rug retains the original end finishes at both ends.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
