Antique Afghan Baluch Rug, Heavy Wear, Good Lived with Look, Circa 1900.

Description

Size: 9ft 10in x 4ft 8in (300 x 143cm).

Antique Afghan Baluch rug with all over repeat lattice design.

Circa 1900.

The rug is in a deep burgundy red with long original kilims at both ends. The sides retain the original goats hair bindings.

The rug is in fair condition, it has heavy wear but is still sound and has a great lived with look. There is one or two very small finger tip size areas of damage.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
