Size: 9ft 6in x 7ft 1in (290 x 216cm).

Old Afghan village carpet with traditional design.

Circa 1920.

The carpet is of a soft burnt orange field colour, with 3 rows of 8 guls. The border design is a typical Afghan Turkmen sunburst design.

The carpet is in fair condition with even wear with low pile. Despite the wear the carpet is very sound and has many years of use left in it.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
