Size: 10ft 3in x 4ft 0in (312 x 122cm).

Antique Caucasian Kazak long rug or runner, South West Caucasus.

Late 19th century

A pleasing rug with a repeat medallion design on a dark indigo blue ground. The rug is dated in a panel above the top medallion. there are two charming small animals at the foot of the rug. The rug has very soft wool and long pile.

Excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
