Size: 4ft 9in x 2ft 10in (145 x 85cm). Including tassels.

Old Afghan village rug of traditional Kizil Ayak design, the rug has long original tassels.

Circa 1920.

The rug is an excellent rich red colour with dark indigo blue / black. The rug retains the original short kilim end finishes and long tassels at both ends. (The tassels could be trimmed if too long.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile. The wool is excellent and very soft.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
