Old Afghan Village Carpet, Very Deep Red Colour, Traditional Design, Circa 1920.

Description

Size: 10ft 4in x 7ft 10in (315 x 240cm).

Old Red Afghan carpet with traditional design, this carpet has superb colour with a very good deep rich red and a deep indigo blue. The carpet retains the original flat woven end finishes at both ends.

Circa 1920.

The carpet is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile, the wool is really superb and very glossy. There is one small area with slightly heavier wear. The ends will be secured prior to delivery.

The carpet has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
