Here is a superb quality Victorian wardrobe.
C1860.
This handsome Victorian wardrobe has the most striking figuring and colour to the mahogany. Contrasting shades have been used to great effect.
The break-front, has triple doors, each with arched moulded panels.
The shelves can be removed, and the space can be used for hanging if preferred, as there is also a fitted brass rail above. The door to this sections also has large wooden hanging pegs fitted to the inside of the door.
The second door is mirrored, and opens to reveal four solid mahogany slides, with a three drawer chest of drawers below, giving a vast amount of storage space. The drawers are constructed from solid mahogany, having very attractive figured mahogany fronts, and quality, sturdy brass handles.
The third door opens to reveal a hanging space with fitted brass rail, and single drawer to base. Also having large wooden hanging pegs fitted to the inside of the door.
The colour of the wood is very attractive, having contrasting lighter timbers for the corners of the cornicing, and also the sides, it really makes the wardrobe quite stunning, and shows the excellent quality and craftsmanship gone into making the wardrobe.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition, having general, expected signs of age and use. The brass lock to the mirrored door internally, is slightly incomplete, this doesnt affect the door from shutting properly.
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
The wardrobe dismantles into five sections, to ease with transporting and moving.

Depth from side not including the breakfront-50cm.

1st section-Height if used for hanging-147cm. Width-55cm. Depth-43cm.
Middle mirrored section-Width of slides-80cm. Depth-57cm. 110cm.
Chest of drawers-Height-70cm. Width-80cm.
The third hanging section-Height for hanging-153cm. Width-55cm. Depth-43cm.
