Size: 4ft 9in x 3ft 2in (145 x 96cm).

Antique Ersari Beshir Turkmen chuval with the ikat design.

Circa 1880.

Superb example with wonderful colours and good drawing, the indigo blues are particularly attractive.

The chuval is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile. The chuval has a very soft and floppy handle. There are old hanging rings attached to the top reverse. The are a few traces of old moth damage in the elem.

The chuval has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
