Size: 6ft 1in x 3ft 7in (185 x 110cm).

A good North West Persian village rug from the Greater Hamadan Region.

Circa 1900/20.

This rug is an good example of Persian village weaving, with a pleasing triple medallion design and superb colours.

The border has a well-drawn floral design that is more commonly found on 19th century rugs.

The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. A very attractive furnishing rug.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
