Antique Tekke Turkmen ‘dip khali’ rug of small size with a deep red field colour.
Circa 1900/20.
These are considered to be ‘half size’ rugs; half the length and half the width of a main carpet.
The orange colour is also found at the top end of the rug in the borders.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
