Antique Mahal Carpet, Good Room Size with Soft Pastel Colour, Circa 1900.

Description

Size: 11ft 4in x 8ft 4in (345 x 255cm).

Antique Mahal carpet of very good room size in pastel colours.

Circa 1900.

The carpet has a all over design with a very small central medallion, the design is in soft pastel colours on a very soft red field. These colours are very easy to furnish with and the carpet is very easy on the eye.

The dark indigo border frames the carpet beautifully.

The carpet is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

The carpet has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
