Antique Tekke Turkmen 12 gul Torba with outstanding colour, this example is of the classic format for this design, similar to examples that are published in most Turkmen books.

Circa 1850.

This example has fully saturated dyes with vibrant colour. The drawing and spacious feel of the guls is exceptional.

The weave is very fine and the torba has a velvet handle.

The torba is in original condition with slight even wear and full pile.

The torba has been hand washed and is ready for display.
