Antique Kurdish long rug of classic design with superb colours. The rug is probably woven by the Persian Sanjabi Kurds.

Circa 1880.

The rug is of the hooked medallion design, with a ivory ground border. The rug is very thick with long heavy glossy pile.

Excellent condition, slight even wear, good pile. The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use.

Hand washed and ready for use.
