A good example of a North West Persian village long rug from the Greater Hamadan Region.
Circa 1920.
The rug is of the traditional heratti design with excellent colours and good drawing. The ivory ground floral border frames the rug well. The soft powder blue through out the rug is very attractive.
The rug is in good condition with very slight wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
