Size: 9ft 10in x 6ft 10in (300 x 209cm).

A very good Afghan village carpet by Ersari Turkmen weavers.

Circa 1900.

The carpet has three rows of six large guls, on a very soft terracotta red ground, the darker red at the ends is due to the use of different dye lots and adds to the charm of the carpet. The kilim end finishes are complete at both ends.

The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.

The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
