Size: 17ft 1in x 3ft 5in (520 x 104cm).

Antique South West Persian Khamseh runner of very good long size with unusual stripe design.

Late 19th century.

This runner is in a well known but scarce design and is larger than is usually found, it is probable that this was a specially commissioned rug. The floral stripe design is well drawn with very good colour.

The runner is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

The runner has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The runner is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
