Size: 16ft 11in x 6ft 1in (515 x 186cm).

Antique North West Persian Faraghan Kelleh with Herati design on a warm madder red field field with beautifully drawn ivory border.

Circa 1890.

A very striking kelleh with an overall light feel due to the extensive use of ivory, yellows and soft blues in the field design and border. This is an exceptional carpet with very fine weave.

The carpet has a very impressive country house feel, a quality very difficult to find in the market today.

The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
