Antique Tekke Turkmen 6 gul Torba with crimson silk to the gul centers, this example is of the classic format for this design, similar to examples that are published in most Turkmen books.

Circa 1850.

This example has fully saturated dyes with vibrant colour.

The weave is very fine and the torba has a velvet handle.

The torba is in original condition with slight even wear and full pile in most parts, there are a few spots of old damage. There are slight losses to the sides.

The torba has been hand washed and is ready for display.
