Nice Quality Japanese Bronze and Mixed Metal Bird Vase

Description

As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this fine and heavy quality onlaid bronze vase , the vase is decorated in a very simple yet charming manner , the central decoration depicts a crow or raven resting upon the branches of a prunus blossom tree , the bird is decorated in high relief shakudo with an eye picked out in gold,the tree is decorated in high relief onlaid precious metals of gold,silver and bronze, the vase has a nicely incised three character signature to the rear that we translate to read "Jyounan", a wonderful addition to your Japanese collection.

The condition is lovely !
