Superb Quality Miyabe Atsuyoshi Mixed Metal Charger

As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this superb quality bronze and mixed metal charger by the highly regarded Miyabe Atsuyoshi , the circular central panel is decorated with a finely cast onlaid mixed metal dragon highlighted in gold , the moulded and swirling smoke filled outer border is further decorated with five finely detailed onlaid mixed metal animals and birds including a striped Tiger , a Phoenix or Ho Ho bird, and a Snake that has wrapped itself around a Terrapin,the underside is nicely signed by the artist, a fantastic piece of high quality mixed metal work from the Meiji period.
The condition is lovely and original !!
