Note the very long brocaded skirts at each end - a sign of early work. The field contains a 'tree-of-life' rising from the underworld, through the earthly world to the world of the spirit. The rug is complete albeit having some wear, particularly at the base. Priced accordingly but very collectable and illustrated in my newly published 3rd edition of 'Tribal Rugs - Treasures of the Black Tent' page 88.
