Unusual Antique Persian Carpet Rug of Herati Design

Description

This is a beautiful antique Persian rug of Herati design dating from the early 20th century. The rug has a deep indigo field of large serrated leaves and flowerheads with a central floral medallion, all enclosed by ivory borders.

The rug is in excellent condition and measures 221cm by 147cm.
