Fine George III Chippendale Mahogany Dressing Table

Description

Fine 18th century George III "Chippendale" mahogany and inlaid fully fitted Gentleman's dressing table. The tops and front beautifully inlaid with a boxwood and ebony chequer line, and boxwood and ebony stars.

The table stands on square legs with the original leather barrel castors with fretted brackets all round. There are drawers and a slide to the front. All the brasswork is also original.

The tops fold out to reveal a fully fitted interior with a fully adjustable mirror to the centre which as well as being adjustable with a ratchet behind also slides forwards and backwards the whole width of the table.

The whole piece is a gorgeous original colour and patination and is in very good overall condition.

SIZES; 24" wide by 20 1/2" front to back by 32" high when closed. 29 1/2" high when open.
