Antique Afghan Timuri Baluch rug from Western Afghanistan.
Circa 1880.
The rug has a very unusual design of a grid of squares each containing a star. The rug retains its original long kilims at both ends.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. There is slight corrosion to the olive browns.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
