Size: 10ft 0in x 6ft 2in (305 x 187cm).

A good antique main carpet by the Timuri Baluch of Western Afghanistan. The carpet is of traditional field design with a pleasing border.

Circa 1900.

The carpet has the traditional Timuri dark indigo ground and burnt orange with ivory high lights. Note the long original kilim end finishes at both ends.

The carpet is in good condition with some wear and corrosion, the pile is medium.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
